Last week Girl called. Dia Tanya…
K.Shiera..jom pegi Melaka nak?
Haa…Melaka!!
Bila?!!
Weekend ni..Girl dapat free voucher 2 days 1 night stay kat Equatorial Hotel…jomlaa..
Tak bolehla nak confirm sekarang, kena tanya BIG BOS kat rumah tu dulu.
Ok, let me know SOONEST!!!
Big Bos kat rumah bagi green light to go to Melaka…he..he.he…he’s in a good mood masa I tanya kat dia…legaaa.
Bangun pagi-pagi macam biasa, kemas rumah, pegi pasar, siapkan breakfast, masak gulai ayam for my dad’s lunch/dinner, and buatkan porridge for my mum…kena buat siap-siap makanan tu..so that nanti BIG BOS tak bising.
Girl came to my house and fetch me. As usual, I lah yang drive…dia tak berani nak drive jauh-jauh katanya. Heemm…yelahh….:( We had breakfast kat Dunkin Donut lepas toll Sg Besi.tu. The journey took us less than 2 hrs…wahh….so damn fast I drive…heh..heh..heh. I mean sampai kat tol Air Keroh tu…bukan sampai kat hotel. Traffic pun tak banyak maybe dah ramai yang balik south semalam (Hari Wilayah).
Lepas checkin..we had lunch at Dataran Pahlawan Megamal..kedai kopitiam. Then back to hotel. Lepas solat Asar, we went to Bandar Hilir, banyak sungguh perubahan sekarang ni. Tak shopping apa-apa pun, just jalan-jalan, sbb mmg tak plan nak shopping pun. Melaka skang ada promosi tentang sungai melaka. Not bad with the amount of money that they have spent to mencantikkan sepanjang sungai melaka. Takdelah macam Venice, but at least belakang Kampung Jawa tuh dah ada pejalan kaki. Kalau sesapa from Melaka, tentu tahu kenapa Kampung Jawa. Kampung Jawa famous ngan barangan keperluan asas yg boleh dibeli ngan harga yang murah. Kekadang, lesung batu dolu-dolu pun beli kat Kg Jawa. Bukan itu sahaja, ada jual kain, barangan kemas, kasut, beg, periuk belanga, etc. Depan hotel tu sekarang ni ada double decker bus red color without the top. Cam kat kota London pulak. Kami tak naikla cuma tengok manusia-manusia kat situ yang beratur nak naik bus. The bus took a ride dari Melaka Sentral ke Gajah Berang. From there to Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock (Jonker Street and Kampung Hulu). Then, Red Building area, Mahkota Parade, Bandar Hilir, Ujong Pasir n patah semula ke Bukit Cina. Dari situ, the bus akan lalu Perigi Hang Li Poh n amik Jalan Tun Fatimah (nearby my old MGHS school). It took almost one hour for the whole journey. Harga tiket RM5 per person n kids below 12 free. Okla...part of tourist attractions.
Lepas solat Magrib, we went to Pantai Puteri, makan ikan bakar kat sana. Tempat ni suggested by my friend, dia kata besides Umbai...kat Pantai Puteri pun ada beberapa kedai ikan bakar...he want us to try there. Murah jugakla harga makanan kat situ. Kami makan ketam 2 ekor, ikan siakap, udang, sayur campur, tom yam & satay. Dah macam-macam perisa masuk perut malam tu. Nasibla malam tu perut tak meragam.. : ) Then we ended up jalan-jalan at Jonker Walk. Jonker Walk at Melaka is like Petaling Street, but it sells more on art and craft stuffs, like paintings, photos, local handicraft, etc. It’s like a heaven for an art lover.
Next morning, lepas breakfast, we went to Dataran Pahlawan again. Girl bought a few things there to bring back to KL. Lepas check-out ingat nak terus balik KL. I ajak dia pegi Tanjung Bidara. So, she agree. We had lunch kat sana.
Tula citernya...last weekend punya xtvt yang tak plan. Penat gakla..but it was fun.
