London – 24/6/2010

Hari ni sekali lagi tiada tour guide..perjalanan seperti biasa sdn bhd. Pagi-pagi lepas breakfast, kumpul baju-baju yang nak dibasuh. Dekat hotel saya duduk tu memang ada macam-macam kemudahan. Dobi, money changer, McDonald, Turkey Restaurant, Malaysian restaurant, souvenirs shops, supermarket, shopping complex, etc..etc..etc…sangat convenient. Bayar £3.00 = RM15.00 for laundries. Situla cuci, situla bagi kering..senang sangat. Lepas dah siap cuci baju, hantar baju balik hotel then kami sambung jelajah London for the last day.

As usual, public transport kenderaan tetap kami untuk pusing-pusing London ni. Kali ni kami travel hingga ke Zone 4. Cost ticket is £7.20 = RM36.00. Sebabnya ke Zone 4, malam ni ada dinner at my cousin’s place at Hanwell. So, lets talk about it..

Portobello Market

Is in West London is one of the most famous street markets in the world. It is a popular destination for Londoners and tourists alike.

Portobello Road goes straight through the heart of Notting Hill, the trendy area of London made famous by the film. Portobello Market takes up most of what is actually more properly called Portobello Road, it stretches for around two miles, although on a crowded saturday afternoon it takes quite a while to walk from end to end.

By Tube, the best way of all ... go to Notting Hill Gate Station and follow the crowd - yes really, you can't go wrong! The market starts about a five minute walk from the tube station.

Royal Albert Hall

One of London’s most recognizable landmarks, Royal Albert Hall is a top European performing arts venue.

Royal Albert Hall hosts one of the world’s largests festivals of Western classical music – the Proms. The hall has also played host to a number of well-known pop artists throughout the last several decades, including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Abba and Meat Loaf. But the Royal Albert Hall isn't just a music venue: over the years it has been used for events such as ice skating, tennis and even sumo wrestling.

Trafalgar Square

Is the largest square in London and has been a central meeting place since the Middle Ages. At that time the site was called Charing. Later it became known as Charing Cross, after a memorial cross on the square. The nearby underground station - aka 'tube' - is still named Charing Cross.
- Nelson’s Column
- Landseer Lion
- National Gallery
- St Martin in the Fields
Buckingham Palace

One of several palaces owned by the British Royal family, is one of the major tourist attractions in London.

The palace was expanded in 1850 with a new east wing. The wing added a large number of rooms to the palace, including an expansive 40 meter (131 ft) long ballroom. The monumental façade of the east wing was built in 1913 by Aston Webb. It is this facade, facing the Mall and
St James's Park, which is now known by most people.

Queen Victoria Memorial

Right in front of the building is the Queen Victoria Memorial, designed by Sir Aston Webb and built in 1911 in honor of Queen Victoria, who reigned for almost 64 years
